Better involvement of stakeholders in River Basin Management Plans is a key for sustainability of dam projects.

From ancient procedures as just giving some information or  launching Public hearing processes to some involvement and active participation it is need to promote stakeholder empowering with good maps or actors and consider real fair compensation of affected people under Win-Win conception of projects.
